The University of Virtuon would like to talk about a lesson on never giving up. This year’s St Louis Cardinals are an amazing story across all walks of life. They were written off in August as no chance to make the playoffs, after all they were 10.5 games out with a month to go in the baseball season! They put together an amazing run and made it into the playoffs on the final day of the season. Then proceeded to beat the best team in baseball on the road to advance. Then beat the team with the best home record in baseball at their place to move into the World Series. Talk about improbable!!

The lesson here is this: If you believe in yourself, your team and coworkers, your management and your goal – you can achieve anything! Just ask the World Series bound St Louis Cardinals about believing and winning when the media has written you off. It is no different in business and technology, sometimes the world seems to be against you and no one believes in you. Yet somehow you still find a way to prove the doubters wrong and come out on top in the end.
