Joseph Hui – PhD, President and Co-Founder
Dr. Hui is a leading authority and recognized pioneer in the field of broadband switching and networking technologies. Dr. Hui is currently a professor at the Fulton School of Engineering at ASU – and holds additional patents in the area of ATM Switching. He is the founder of several IT companies, including IXTech, IXSoft, Inc., and most recently, 4Blox, Inc. Dr. Hui received his Bachelors, Masters and PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has held research and teaching positions at Bellcore, Rutgers University, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Dr Hui is also an IEEE Fellow.
David Daniel – PhD, Vice President and Co-Founder
Dr. Daniel has over 20 years of experience as an engineer and engineering leader in the electronics industry. Dr. Daniel received his Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University in 1996. Since 1996 Dr. Daniel has been focused on developing innovations in data communications and computer bus I/O technologies. As Principal Engineer and then Director of Hardware Engineering at Sorenson Vision in Logan, Utah, Dr. Daniel worked on the early development of Universal Serial Bus video conferencing ASICs and peripherals. As Principal Engineer and then Director of Engineering for Mobility Electronics in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Daniel helped pioneer the development of PCI bus serialization and computer expansion techniques.
Forrest Blair – Chief Executive Officer
Forrest’s professional background ranges from technical innovator and entrepreneur guiding technology startups, to executive leadership in large corporations. He has held Senior Director, Vice President, President, and other executive roles at various companies. At General Electric and Sorenson Media companies he led innovations in software advances and programs in internet media streaming. In addition to managing efforts at ThermoFisher Scientific to streamline strategic planning and operational execution, Forrest deployed corporate improvement and growth programs in world-wide locations. Internationally, Forrest has managed partnerships and programs in Asia and Europe. Currently he is leading innovations in cloud computing and virtualization at Virtuon. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
