The event involved a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane, Arizona Technology Council President and CEO Steven Zylstra, Virtuon executives, state and community dignitaries, and other Arizona-based technology companies. The new center is housed at Arizona State University SkySong and displays state-of-the-art cloud computing and virtualization applications, including virtual data centers. The center will provide an opportunity for students from surrounding educational institutions to experiment first-hand with latest technologies, test new ideas, and come to understand how cloud computing and virtualization concepts are reducing energy consumption and improving uptime within businesses.
